AI for Humanity: Navigating Ethics and Morality for a Flourishing Future is a thought-provoking event designed to spark a high-level conversation on artificial intelligence from a biblical worldview. As AI technologies continue to reshape society, we are faced with urgent questions: What is a human? and What does it mean to be human in the age of AI?
This event will provide a theological and ethical framework for engaging with AI, equipping attendees to think critically and faithfully in this time of rapid technological change. We’ll explore the role of Christians and Christian institutions in shaping the future of AI—considering both the warnings and the opportunities.
Participants will gain clarity on the ethical conversations that must take place and discover how AI can be leveraged to advance the Great Commission and promote human flourishing. This is a timely and necessary dialogue for those who want to engage the culture with wisdom, conviction, and hope.
As part of this broader effort to align AI innovation with Kingdom values, we also invite you to explore the Gloo AI Hackathon, happening October 8–10 in Boulder, Colorado. With the theme AI for Human Flourishing, the hackathon brings together developers, ministry leaders, technologists, publishers, and innovators to build solutions that serve the Church and the wider faith ecosystem. With tracks ranging from Bible translation to gaming and church engagement, the event is an opportunity to collaborate, create, and dream big with like-minded leaders. Whether you're a builder or a visionary, there's a space for you to contribute.
Together, these events represent a unique opportunity to reflect deeply and act boldly—to engage AI not only with theological clarity but also with practical innovation that serves humanity and honors God.
